COLCHESTER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL 2012
SATURDAY JUNE 23RD AND SUNDAY JUNE 24TH
LOWER CASTLE PARK, COLCHESTER
The Colchester Food and Drink Festival with Colchester Rose and Horticultural Show. Over 10,000 people per day attend the Colchester Food and Drink Festival, which has grown every year since 2003. Set in Colchester’s beautiful and award winning Castle Park, our flagship event is now a firm regional favourite.
The Colchester Food and Drink Festival in 2012 has some new and crowd pleasing events including a re-vamped professional display kitchen. A full restaurant operated by the region’s top award winning hospitality and cookery school CHefS at Colchester Institute. There is also a second kitchen planned to give people with food allergies the chance to learn new and exciting recipes.
We will also have lots of music and fun events to make it a great and complete day out. In 2012 for the ninth successful year running we will be charging the public £3 entry. Children and ex service personnel wearing medals are free.
We hope to host once again this year the British Legion and our usual charity stalls
