Snake in the Grass is a company dedicated to producing fantastic events for the public to enjoy. We are in partnership with Quinntessential who produce the best bars, parties and events ever. Together we can produce a range of events, bars and parties from a major music event to a party for an 80 year old in a marquee. We have a dedicated team looking constantly for ideas and venues to create events from Roman to medieval for re-enactors. We have a team which concentrates on music creating our superb Party in the Park. Two of our Directors specialise in really good food and of course we have the Colchester Food and Drink Festival and our Christmas and Winters Fairs to prove that. This year we are into the world of model trains boats and planes with a new event aimed at all age groups who love models and model making all in big marquees in Lower Castle Park. For two years we have organised the Roman Spectacular with the Army.
If you have an idea or a plan for an event we would be happy to look at the feasibility and turn it into a business plan and manage it for you or work in partnership.
Corporate Hospitality
All our events have huge potential to provide your company,
club or even just group of friends with deals for groups. We can
offer from a fully lined, with bar and catering, hospitality marquee
(you can also run your own bar and catering) at our events right
the way to discount for groups on the ticket price. We take great
pleasure in welcoming your company or group from the stage and of
course we can supply banner space so that you can let the world know

Publishing
Snake in the Grass Publishing produces the highly professional and popular ‘Colchester
Food and Drink Guide’. This prestigious publication, printed by top
printers Palladian Press, is distributed throughout the town and to visitors
to the town.
